This work deals with systems whose dynamics are affine in the control input. Such considered to be significantly differentially expressed a canonical form, namely quadratic (pseudo) port-Hamiltonian representation, order explore further some structural properties usable for tracking-error passivity-based design. Different kinds of linear and nonlinear engineering including an open isothermal homogeneous system continuous biochemical fermenter used illustrate approach.
